Based on a true story of a courageous income tax officer who raided the mansion of the most powerful man in Lucknow. Will he succeed? What outcomes will he face being an honest officer?

These kinds of movies directly get to the point, so you even cannot leave and fetch popcorn. We always watch movies of gangsters and gets impressed by them, so why not an honest officer?

There are many interesting points of the move, but the most ironic part is the scenes between Amay Patnaik (Ajay Devgn) and Rameshwar Singh 'Tauji' (Saurabh Shukla).

14. Badhaai ho (2018)

badhaai ho

A young man is humiliated when he finds out his mother is pregnant.

Topics like these we usually encounter in our homes, neighbors or friends. Being a middle-class mentality it is not easily acceptable to become pregnant when you already have children, one is teenage and another is getting married.

After watching the film you will remember each and every character, how beautifully each situation is handled. You will laugh, chuckle and get emotional. This movie will make your day.

These 2 boys do not need any storyline to perform, just make them sit in a room and enjoy their conversation.

11. Karwaan (2018)

karwaan

Director: Akarsh Khurana

Two friends (Dulquer and Irfan) and bubbly girl (Mithila) take a road trip from Bengaluru to Kochi.

Who doesn't love road trips, especially the unplanned ones? If a road trip movie is made with honesty then watching them is like you are in the movie.

And believe me, that is what you're going to feel. A very light and feelgood film to watch on any day.

tumbbad

Director: Rahi Anil Barve, Adesh Prasad

A mythical story about a goddess who created the entire universe. The story tells about the consequences when someone builds a temple for her first-born.

Wow, and scary were my words when I saw the movie. It's been ages when I saw a good horror movie, I started to give my trust in horror movies, then Tumbbad released and spellbound me. I said to myself this is how a horror movie is made.

This movie is gripping from beginning to end. Story, screenplay, music, and cinematography is just excellent. Waiting for the next installment.

9. K.G.F: Chapter 1 (2018)

kgf movie

The story of a ferocious rebel Rocky (Yash) who rises against the cruel oppression and becomes a token of hope of a group of overwhelmed people.

One of the best and original releases of 2018, the perfect blend of a screenplay, direction, BGM (especially Maa), story, dialogues.

The way of narrating the story by Anant Nag is just so convincing. I am eagerly waiting for chapter 2.

A must-watch film for crime, horror and mystery lover includes talented star cast of youth sensation Rajkumar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi and cute and bubbly Shraddha Kapoor.

People who refrain themselves from watching horror movies, they will also enjoy. The theme of the movie kept too simple without any hullabaloo.

7. Pataakha (2018)

pataakha movie

Director: Vishal Bhardwaj

Inspired from a short story of "Do Behnein" written by Charan Singh Pathik, the film narrates a story of 2 brawling sisters who realize their true nature of the relationship when they are separated after marriage.

I bet this is the story of every second home with 2 sisters. To them, if you see a snake and your sister, kill her first.

Well, some get mature and some not. In most of the cases, I have seen after marriage the peace prevails in a home but not in their hearts.

Is this the same care here too? Watch this full entertaining film to find out.

6. Gold (2018)

padman

Director: R. Balki

Based on the true story of a man (Akshay Kumar) who realized the pain of women affected by their menses.
