There is a saturation point of almost all things, even movies. Sometimes you do not feel like watching your favorite genre movies even if they are top-rated movies of all time.

You need a break and want to watch those movies that do not stress you, make you think deeply or too much of thinking while watching movies.

On the contrary, you need a movie that lightens up your mood, gives a vibe of feel-good, does not make you think too much and after all, makes you happy.

Here I listed 12 best feel-good movies of all time that you can watch any given day or when feeling low.

He is asked to stay in the airport until the war cools down in his country and then he will valid papers. While staying at the airport he meets new people and interacts with the staff working at the airport.

This is the movie by Steven Spielberg starring Tom Hanks in the lead role who is at his best and you will fall in love with him, so you can guess the outcome of the movie. This movie is based on the true story of Merhan Nasseri.


2. Amelie (2001)





A classic French movie starring Audrey Tautou in the lead role, the story of a young girl Amelie who is a waitress loves to live in the imaginary world decides to help the needy people who are looking for happiness.

While doing this she happens to find true love. Will she lives happily after?

Remember the girl Sophie from Da Vinci Code? Yes, she is the one. In this movie, you will love her presence. This is one of the most popular movies worldwide due to its nostalgic music, a glimpse of a French live and the strongest part is the story.


3. War Horse (2011)




This movie shows a beautiful bonding between Albert and his horse Joey in the time of war. Under unwanted circumstances, Joey is sold to the British cavalry.

Albert couldn’t take it, so he decides to enlist himself in World War I so that he never loses the sight of Joey.

Another gem from Steven Spielberg based on a true story. It is a war-drama, still a beautiful feel-good movie. A must-watch for animal lovers.


4. Saving Mr. Banks (2013)




Based on a true story of Travers (Emma Thompson) who has written ‘Mary Poppins,’ meets Walt Disney who is very much eager to adapt Mary Poppins for the movie, but it is not that easy cause viewpoint of Walt and Travers do not match and Walt is unable to convince Travers.

Will the movie be ever made?

Well, you know the answer, but this movie will tell you the inside story of Travers and how this movie was made (Mary Poppins).

One of the best light-hearted movies I have ever seen. Emma and Tom are flawless.





5. The Intouchables (2011)



Phillippe, a rich French nobleman who becomes quadriplegic after facing a paragliding accident, unexpectedly hires Driss who needs a sign on the document from social security to which Phillippe agrees but on one condition that for a month Driss will be taking care of him and helping him.

Lives of two people from a different society, how will they change each other’s lives.

Believe me, a part of you will surely change after watching this movie from a positive aspect.




6. Remember the titans (2000)



Coach Herman Boone is an African-American football coach hired to train a high school team on their first season. He is hired to train black students, but become head coach and starts training white students too.

This creates tension among the students, staff and parents. But ultimately the outcome is pleasant as they learn how to trust each other irrespective of what color you are.

Based on a true story of T.C. Williams High School in Virginia in 1971. A blend of biography, sport and racism.



7. 200 pounds beauty (2006)




Hanna is a talented singer who singing can take you to another world, but no one knows that cause she lends her voice and always sings behind the curtains.

The reason is she is overweight and thus lacks confidence in her. She undergoes plastic surgery and regains a new identity. She is now slim and hot, did she get what she always wanted.

A must-watch for body shamers (actually losers), the movie will show you what matters the most looks or internal beauty. One of my best Korean-comedy movies.




8. My sassy girl (2001)



A young college student (Cha Tae‑hyun) one night saves a drunken young woman (Jun Ji‑hyun) from an accident and falls in love with her.

She is arrogant, proud and favorite sport is humiliating him and always loves to put him in trouble.

This classic Korean love story had remakes in Hollywood as well as in Bollywood. This is one of the movies of Korean cinema which drew the attention of other worldwide movie industries.

The movie is based on true incidents but later complied in a fictional novel. The rest is history.




9. Tanu Weds Manu (2011)



Manoj (Madhavan) is an NRI doctor who visits India to search for Indian bride and in-process falls for Tanu (Kangna Ranaut). But the problem is they both have opposite personalities, Manu is a serious and well-behaved person whereas Tanu is a fun-loving and mischievous girl.

Manu is determined to marry her but she has other plans for him as she already has a boyfriend.

The movie was an instant hit and has a cult following even today. The chemistry of Madhavan and Kangna is flawless. The response from the audience made the creators to give another installment ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns.’


10. Hera Pheri (2000)





Raju (Akshay Kumar) and Shyam (Sunil Shetty) live as tenants under landlord Baburao (Paresh Rawal). All three of them are in need of money desperately and each of them has their own problems to solve.

One day they receive a call for ransom due to cross-connection. Now they plot a plan to claim the ransom money to make their life much easier.

One of the best comedy movies in Bollywood cinema. This movie alone has a separate fan following. A turning point in the careers of Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal.

You must watch this movie to ease your mood and believe me this classic never gets old.



11. Karwaan (2018)



Two friends Avinash (Dulquer) and Shaukat (Irrfan Khan) decides to take a road trip from Bangalore to Kochi when Avinash receives the wrong dead body as his father expired but he receives the body of an old woman.

On their way, Tanya (Mithila Palkar) joins them against their wishes. All three of them are not happy in their lives, what happens during the road trip will change their lives.
A true example of a feel-good film, everything in this movie is perfect such as direction, acting, location, music and so on.

One of the best road trip movies ever made. Location plays the pivotal part in feel-good type movies and the peaceful and breathtaking beauty of the southern part of India will soothe your eyes and heart.




12. Stardust (2007)



In the era of 1800s, a young man Tristan (Charlie Cox) promises a girl to bring her the fallen star to prove his love to her.

Unaware of the fact that the star is a maiden Yvaine (Claire Danes), and many powerful people are looking for her such as three old witches who want her heart to make them young and sons of dead king Stromhold who are fighting to regain their throne.

Lover of adventure-fantasy movie with a punch of feel-good no matter what age you are in, then go for it. The whole movie, the stars Michelle Pfeiffer, Robert De Niro and Henry Cavill will make your day.
